A pedestrian bridge across Forest Park Parkway connecting Greenway South to south to Washington University Danforth campus is planned to be reconstructed. The work is scheduled to begin full project mobilization on Monday, May 21st.Please see below project site plan and pedestrian/bicycle detour plan and stay tuned for upcoming roadway traffic detours on Forest Park Parkway and limited Metro temporary schedule revisions with respect to this planned work. This weekend, the steel for the bridge span will be set over Forest Park Parkway and MetroLink. ==Extended work hours have been permitted by University City:Friday August 3, 2018: 10 PM until 7AM. Work over the rail line will begin after revenue service hours beginning at 1:00 AM on Saturday morning. The Parkway will be reopened for the morning commute on Tuesday, August 7. **
6/12/2018 Update: Starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, through Monday, June 18, Forest Park Parkway will be closed to thru traffic between Big Bend Blvd. and Skinker Blvd. The Parkway will reopen to traffic at 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19.
