Better Family Life's 2017 Amnesty and Legal Expo

The program is being held on three separate dates at one of the St. Louis Community College branches:

  • Saturday, August 5 at STLCC-Forest Park, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 9 at STLCC-Florissant Valley, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 12 at STLCC-Meramec, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Amnesty Expo is in cooperation with 45-plus St. Louis County municipalities and will offer St. Louis City and County citizens the opportunity to clear outstanding traffic, failure to appear (Bench), child support, and other misdemeanor warrants.

The underlying offenses are not "forgiven", rather clients will receive a new court date and their potential options for resolution, including the reduction of standard fines, payment plans, or community service.

Individuals with outstanding warrants from participating jurisdictions can receive vouchers for new court dates by attending one of the three events held at one of the St. Louis Community College branches (dates are listed above). Individuals are then required to visit the municipalities that issued their warrants, receive a new court date, attend their new court date, and pay whatever fines and fees the court mandates in order to avoid the issuance of a new warrant.
