As you well know, Census funding is determined by population count and that population count will be key as to where billions of federal funding will be allocated. The Census can shape many different aspects of our community. Almost every area of our daily lives are touched by the Census, e.g. education, housing, food, healthcare, infrastructure, the number of Congressional seats assigned to our state, and political representation at all levels of government, just to name a few.
The U.S. Census Bureau is bound by law to protect your answers and keep them strictly confidential. The law ensures that your private information is never published and that your answers cannot be used against you by any government agency or court. You will not be asked about your employment, banking, citizenship status, or any past or present law enforcement related questions.
