Overview
The Bureau of Services shall provide support services, including communications, records, facilities, supplies, and materials as may be required by the various components to enable them to perform their duties.
The Bureau shall be responsible for the maintenance and issuance of uniforms and equipment, stationary, and other related items. The Bureau also is responsible for Department vehicle purchases, computer equipment, radio and telephone equipment and service, maintaining a good record system providing security and retrieval, and staffing a communications system which will receive information, assess it, then determine the need for police service based on that assessment.
The Bureau shall maintain a secure storage for property and evidence, and shall keep such records to assure the integrity and accessibility of the property or evidence.
