The Library Board establishes policy and is the governing board of the Library, with the primary purpose of ensuring high quality library service to the community. The Board appoints the Library Director, who supervises the expenditure of all funds credited to the Library.
The Board consists of nine members who are appointed to three year terms. No member of municipal government may be a board member, nor may anyone related to a board member be employed by the Board.
The Library Board meets at 5:15 pm on the second Wednesday of the month.
