The Plan Commission is responsible for overseeing the master plan of the City and recommending changes to the plan. It also acts as the zoning commission.
The Commission has seven members who must have been residents for at least two years and are qualified by knowledge and experience to act on questions pertaining to the City's development and administration of zoning laws. The term of office is three years. Ex-officio non-voting members include a City Council member, the City Manager, Director of Planning and the Zoning Administrator.
The Commission usually meets in the EOC Room located in the basement of City Hall at 6:30 pm on the fourth Wednesday of the month when there is business. More information on the Plan Commission.
