The Industrial Development Authority is an organization which is devoted to helping attract industrial development and economic expansion in University City. It is a quasi-independent group governed by Missouri Statutes and is empowered to sell industrial development or revenue bonds.
There are seven members, all of whom are appointed by the Mayor with the concurrence of the City Council. The term of office is six years.
The group meets when there is business.
