Overview
· Yard waste is collected at the curbside.
· Brush and tree limbs that are not larger than 3 inches thick will be collected at the front curb, along with your regular trash.
· Grass clippings, leaves, twigs, plants, or small brush must be separated from household trash and placed in 30-gallon, biodegradable paper bags (kraft bags) with a yard waste sticker attached.

· No dirt, wood chips, or logs are accepted in yard waste bags.
· Residents that utilize alley pickup will have yard waste collected at the front curb on Mondays.
Brush and Tree Limbs
· Residents may tie brush and limbs with twine into bundles 4' long and 2' around (a maximum of 6 bundles will be collected from a single household per week) for collection on household trash collection days.
· Residents that utilize alley pickup will have brush and limbs (yard waste) collected at the front curb on Mondays.
Holiday Trees
Residents may put their trees out at the front curbside for pickup during the first two weeks of January each year. The dates for collection in 2010 are the week of January 4 - 8, and the following week, January 11 - 15. After that time trees should be taken to Heman Park (parking lot near the ball field, off of Shaftesbury) on Saturday, January 16th and Saturday, January 23rd only.
