Residency Policy
Only University City residents are eligible to reserve picnic pavilions. Use of Heman Park Swimming Pool is available to non-residents when accompanied by a resident or upon obtaining a Centennial Commons membership or Nonresident Annual Swim Pass. Use of University City High School Natatorium is available to nonresidents with a Centennial Commons membership or when accompanied by a resident.

Payments
Checks or money orders should be made payable to the City of University City and must be made for the exact amount of the fee. MasterCard and Visa are both accepted at Centennial Commons and Ruth Park Golf Course.

Register Early for Programs/Events
All programs, events, etc. must meet the stated minimum enrollment. If the minimum is not met, the program will be cancelled. If this occurs, participants will be notified and a full refund issued. The Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry has made every effort to ensure accuracy of the information presented. However, all programs, events, locations, and fees indicated are subject to change.

All programs and facilities of the University City Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry are available to people of all abilities. If special accommodations are needed, please notify us when registering.
Inclusion Coordinator
Mary Furfaro, the Regional Coordinator of Inclusive Recreation, is responsible for facilitating the inclusion of people with disabilities in our recreation programs and for providing assistance with city services.
If accommodations or assistance is needed, please feel free to contact Mary at (314) 505-8607 or through Relay Missouri at (800) 735-2966 (TDD). Volunteers are always needed and welcomed to assist individuals with disabilities.

Fair Play Policy
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry offers opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to provide recreational enjoyment in a safe environment. Please assist us by following our Fair Play Policy. Individuals using University City Parks, Recreation and Forestry facilities are expected to:
· Refrain from using profane language
· Refrain from placing themselves and/or others at personal risk
· Respect one another and one another’s personal property
· Not participate in any unlawful activities (i.e., vandalism, stealing, using or selling illegal drugs or weapons)
Adherence to this policy is greatly appreciated. Persons who endanger the safety of themselves or others will be removed from Parks, Recreation and Forestry facilities and/or recreation programs. Other infractions of the rules will be handled as deemed necessary by Parks and Recreation Departmental staff. If children are involved, their parent and/or guardian will be contacted.

Photo Policy
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry may take photos of participants at our parks, of persons enrolled in sponsored programs, and of those enjoying special events. Please be aware these photos are for department use only, and may be used in future publications, social networks, flyers, displays, and on the City’s website.
