On Wed., Apr. 12, University City Mayor Terry Crow alongside members of the City Council, University City staff and QuikTrip Division Staff and Store Team members will welcome QuikTrip to U City with a ribbon cutting at 7579 Olive Blvd. at 2:30 p.m.
“We are excited to welcome QuikTrip to University City. Our residents are eager to have this new store and fuel facility in U City and to utilize all the added conveniences it brings to our residents and visitors,” said City Manager Gregory Rose.
The new QuikTrip is located near the intersection of North and South Road and Olive Boulevard in University City. Prior to QuikTrip, the lot was an underutilized part of town making it a prime site for QuikTrip. The intersection has a stoplight and a high volume of traffic along Olive Boulevard. The opening of this location will provide over 20 new good-paying job opportunities.
“QuikTrip is excited to bring our signature commitment to quality and friendly customer service to University City. We can’t wait to be a new neighbor in the community,” said Aisha Jefferson-Smith, QuikTrip’s Corporate Communications Manager.
The store will officially open to customers at 6 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 13.
