CodeRED

The City of University City is pleased to announce its new emergency notification system, CodeRED.
CodeRED is a FREE community notification system available to University City residents that will send you alerts concerning time-sensitive and/or emergency information that may impact your area via phone calls, text messages, emails and social media.

We encourage you to actively participate in emergency preparedness by remaining informed. Safety is a two-way street, so be sure to register today to receive the information you need, when it matters, regarding events such as missing persons, evacuations, natural disasters and more.

STAY SAFE

CodeRED Weather Warning sends automated alerts after a severe thunderstorm warning, tornado warning, or flash flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service.

You must opt-in to receive these special alerts.  This system operates around the clock, 24 hours a day.  If you have already registered for CodeRED in the past and do not wish to receive these new special alerts, you will continue to receive the normal voice-activated alerts and do not have to take any action.

Residents and Businesses, click on link to register for CodeRED notifications, https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/BFB77207BF2C

TARGETED ALERTS

This system allows University City Public Safety to telephone all or targeted areas of the City in case of an emergency situation that requires immediate action (such as a boil-water notice, missing child, or evacuation notices).
