Starting Monday, December 18, 2023 University City is implementing the revisions to the University City Residential Parking Permit Plan. Residents must obtain updated permits for both residential and visitor parking, replacing the current red and white ones. The new permit will allow residents and their visitors to park ONLY on the specific street they reside. Residents have until January 22, 2024 to obtain the updated permit. Permits can be obtained from the Records Room during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Applicants must present their photo ID that shows your current University City address, possess a valid University City occupancy permit for said address, and a current state motor vehicle registration certificate for each permit requested. The motor vehicle must be registered or leased to an individual listed on the occupancy permit. A permit can be obtained for each vehicle owned/leased by the resident. The number of permits shall not exceed the number of vehicles owned by the resident. Also a maximum of two transferable visitor permits can be obtained for each residence regardless of whether the resident owns an automobile.
