Chapter 120, Article I Section 120.160 Certain Persons Related to City Employees Ineligible to serve.
No person shall be appointed to or serve on a commission, authority, board or committee if the person is related to a City employee within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity and the employee's job duties or responsibilities are directly related to the duties or responsibilities of the commission, authority, board or committee. The City Council, as may be advised by the City Manager, shall determine whether any person is ineligible for appointment or service under this Section, consistent with all applicable law.
