The City of University City is advising residents, businesses, and visitors of upcoming infrastructure work near the LOCAL on Delmar Apartments.
Please be advised that all work is weather permitting and subject to change based upon work conditions. Contractor Budrovich is scheduled to begin installation of a new water tap to serve the development during the week of Monday, January 26, 2026, with work continuing through the week of February 2, 2026. Westbound traffic on Delmar Boulevard should expect to use the North Loop detour. Eastbound traffic lanes will remain open for the duration of the project.
Project activities will include:
- Installation of safety barriers
- Pavement updates
- Excavation
- Beam installation
- Concrete pouring
- Water main modifications
Budrovich will be working in coordination with Missouri American Water to complete this project safely and efficiently.
Construction maps are included with this notice to illustrate the work zone and areas that will be impacted.
Temporary traffic or pedestrian impacts may occur during construction. The City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this necessary infrastructure work is completed.
