Effective June 10, the City’s permitting portal will be upgraded. The current portal, MyGov, has been redesigned to improve permitting, code enforcement, inspections, citizen requests and contractor registration. Please note that permit applications will NOT be accepted on Fri., June 7, as MyGov will be unavailable during the software update. Updated 5/24/2024 with new times.
The Department of Planning & Development will be closed to the public during the timeframes listed below as we prepare and train our staff for the permitting software update:
- Mon., May 20 - closed from 11 a.m. – Noon
- Tues., May 21 - closed from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Wed., May 22 - closed from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Thurs., May 23 - closed from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Tues., May 28 - closed from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Thurs., May 30 - closed from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Tues., June 4 - closed from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Thurs., June 6 - closed from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Fri., June 7 - closed all day, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. – permit applications will NOT be accepted
Normal office hours resume on Mon., June 10 when the new software launches. Benefits of the new software include expanded online options and digital permitting designed to be more efficient and convenient for our residents, business owners and contractors.
