United Way to be in U City for National Make a Difference Day – Saturday, October 24. The Department of Community Development is coordinating a large volunteer clean-up effort with the United Way. Volunteers will provide yard work, light maintenance, and other small scale beautification improvements to University City residences, primarily those located in the City’s Northeast and owned by senior citizens or individuals with disabilities . Alley clean-ups will also be performed.
