The U City in Bloom is a non-profit volunteer driven organization. For over 25 years we have created and maintained the now over 325 public garden locations throughout University City. Our Annual Plant Sale will take place on Saturday, April 28th from 9:00am - 1:00pm and Sunday, April 29th from 9:00am - noon at the Heman Park Community Center located on the corner of Pennsylvania and Vernon Avenues. This event is a significant source of income to U City in Bloom and contributes to 84% of our annual fund raising budget.
This year in addition to our perennial plants we will offer a large variety of annuals along with native and wildlife attracting plants, culinary herbs and vegetables.
