[ARCHIVED] 2013 Spring Leaf Collection

leaf collection

Spring leaf collection begins in March! Residents should place leaves curbside (not in the alley) by the Sunday night before the week long collection begins. Trucks only make one pass on each street during the week.

Spring Leaf Collection Schedule:
East Area - Week of March 18
West Area - Week of March 25
Central Area - Week of April 1

Call the Public Works and Parks Department at 314-505-8560 to verify your collection area.

Rake only leaves curbside. Gumballs, small branches, plantings, shrubbery, and other yard type debris will not be removed. These items should be placed in a yard waste bag (with the required sticker) for removal on the regular trash and recycling collection day.

If you miss your collection, leaves and other yard waste can be placed in biodegradable bags and tagged with Yard Waste Stickers. Yard Waste Stickers are available ($1.50 each) at City Hall, Schnucks, Walgreens, University Gardens, and Centennial Commons. Yard waste bags (with stickers) are collected on your regular trash and recycling collection day.
