The Olive Link Sculpture Exhibit is a joint project between the City of University City and Washington University. Its development is part of a larger plan for economic development on Olive Boulevard in University City. The exhibit is intended to be temporary, but City officials hope that the presence of the sculptures will inspire developers to invest in the various vacant lots and buildings that line the commercial corridor.
The sculptures were created by four Washington University Master of Fine Arts in Visual Art students: Garrett Clough, Madeline Marak, Austin Wolf and Vita Eruhimovitz.
Free food, drinks, and music will be provided by the University City Chamber of Commerce and Washington University.
