The City will be hosting it's annual pet clinic on April 2, 2016, 8:00 am. - 12:00 p.m at the Heman Park Community Center, 975 Pennsylvania Ave. Pet owner's will be able to receive a one-year rabies vaccination and preliminary health exam for cats and dogs. Fees are as follows: Spayed/Neutered Cats and Dogs are $22 and $25 respectively, Non-spayed/Neutered Cats and Dogs are $30 and $33 respectively. Fees cover both vaccination and St. Louis County rabies registration. All pets must be a least three months old; dogs must be leashed; cats must be in carriers. The pet clinic is sponsored by Dr. Gary Yavitz, Spoede Animal Hospital, (314) 569-3111, www.spoede-vet.com and the City of University City, www.ucitymo.org.
All U City residents with dogs are required to register their dogs with the City, so you will have the opportunity to register your dog if you have not done so already. The U City tag is $3.00.
The City will also be selling memberships to the U City Dog Park. Registration is open to both residents and non-residents. Fees to use the dog park are as follows:
· $40/yr. for one dog and $60/yr. for two dogs (Residents)
· $60/yr. for one dog and $90/yr. for two dogs (Non-Residents)
At the time of registration, individuals that wish to access the dog park must show proof of residency (license, state issued identification, occupancy permit, etc.).
