The meeting was open to all, and co-sponsored by the City of University City and UCity Action Network (UCAN). The purpose of the meeting was to provide an opportunity for 1) the City to explain the search and hiring process for the new chief of police and 2) University City residents to voice their expectations for the ideal chief of police to lead the department. More than 50 U City residents attended the forum. Public comments were recorded and included in the attached summary.
