On Saturday, June 13th citizens, families and friends are invited to join in a scavenger hunt to find the nine life-sized “Roaring Lions of University City” (think Cows of Chicago, but Lions!) that will be located around town. The hunt begins at the Civic Plaza at 9 am where you will receive clues as to where the Lions will be. Have your game card stamped at each lion and win a prize upon return to the Civic Plaza. This community wide art project is to celebrate the 100 Year Birthday of the Lion and Lioness that sit at the top of the Gates of Opportunity in the Civic Plaza.
